In Türkiye, 35 million tons of waste is produced annually in houses. We can bring about 15 million tons of packaging and other waste with calorific value back to the economy by producing RDF.

The waste types which have lost their economic value due to leachate and other pollutants, but retain their calorific value are used as additional fuel in cement factories and provide significant savings in energy costs. This leads to huge gains both in carbon footprint management and economic terms.

In these plants, RDF raw material is sized and analyzed in terms of calorific value, chlorine content and moisture content. Another essential issue is the effective dewatering of waste. An energy-efficient solution is needed to dewater the waste, reach the moisture rates needed and turn this waste into value.
